For all the thrill-seekers, Everest Base Camp trek is the best trekking route ever. For almost half a century, Everest Base Camp trek has been drawing in thousands of trekkers to one of a kind experience in the region. Welcome to the land of Himalayas. We heartily welcome you on your first day in Nepal with our staff waiting to pick you up from the airport and get you to the hotel in a private car. Explore Durbar square with licensed tour guide.
We take an early morning ride in a van or bus (4-5 hours) to Manthali and catch a breathtaking flight to the Tenzing-Hillary Airport, to the Sherpa village of Lukla (2840 m), where we begin our trek into the Khumbu region. Throughout the flight, dramatic views of terraced hills and the distant Himalayan range will come into view. After lunch we will hike for around three hours to reach Phakding (2610 m). During the 3 hours hike to Phakding you will pass Mani stonewalls, sacred for Buddhist, made from hundreds of stone tablets and giant carved boulders, brilliantly decorated with coloured paints. – You are going to land at the height of 2840 m from 1350 m (Kathmandu), so we suggest you to stay in Lukla for at least one hour to acclimatise – Lukla (2840 m) will be windy and cold so we suggest you to keep fleece and warm hat handy though it feel hot in Kathmandu (1350 m)

From Phakding, we continue hiking for around five hours along the banks of the Dudh Koshi, through stands of pine and oak trees, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges loaded with prayer flags. Trail starts to rise and rhododendron, magnolia and giant fir trees prevail, with a breathtaking view of Namche Bazar (3440 m) – the gateway to the Everest region or the Sherpa Capital. Namche Bazar is a colourful village with many wonderful and interesting shops and vendors, fabulous food, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

We will take an extra day for rest and acclimatisation. During acclimatisation day, an early hike above town, before the clouds move in, reward climbers with a spectacular Himalayan sunrise and views of Mt. Everest (8848m / 29038 ft), Lhotse ( 8516m/ 27939 ft) (the 4th highest peak in the world), and the beautiful Ama Dablam (6856m / 22493ft) . We will visit Sagarmatha National park which is perfect for Mt. Everest view and other views and museum Sagarmatha Next where the plastics and wastages are recycled. If time allows we will visit the Khumjung village shortly

A good day walks with a pleasant trail through an enchanting forest of rhododendrons, oaks, and pines trees, then passing small farm villages following the Bhote Kosi River upstream and to Thamo village with a small hydro project that supplies hydroelectricity to most of the Khumbu area, from this village continue to walk then reaching a small bridge, with beautiful Buddhist Rock Wall Paintings on the rocky wall, from the bridge a short walk to Thame a quiet and sleepy village seldom frequented by trekkers, at Thame with time visit one of the oldest monasteries of the region. The monastery in Thame village is called Thame Monastery, or in Tibetan, Thame Dechen Chokhor Ling Monastery and also popular for Yeti Scalp preserved well as relics inside the Monastery

Morning with time visit of the monastery and then walk towards our first pass of the adventure, as the route leads to Marlung village above Bhote Kosi River, past the villages of Thyangboche and Hungmo, and then walking into complete wilderness passing yak grazing land, onwards walk leads to arid terrain of sparse vegetation. You’ll follow the Bhote Koshi River valley, heading gently uphill. The trail passes through dry alpine terrain, stone pastures, and sometimes across small wooden bridges.
Panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, especially Kongde Ri, Pasang Lhamu Peak, and sections of the Nangpa La pass route (used by Tibetan traders).
Very few trekkers, you’ll mostly see yaks, wild goats, and maybe a few monks or locals transporting supplies. This route was once part of the ancient salt trade route to Tibet, so you might encounter ruins or trade shelters. The trail leads you to Lumde village which is the 6th day of 18 days of trek in Nepal, the village of Lumde/Lundgen is only one settlement before crossing Renjola pass.

After having breakfast in Lungden. Trail slightly leads to Renjola pass 5360 m. Renjola pass is one of the easiest passes in the Khumbu Himalaya compared to other passes (Chola and Kongmala). Renjola pass is the third pass among 3 pass Everest trekking. Whole trail is zigzag with sandy ridges, until Gokyo lakes. Overnight at Teahouse Lodge.The trek from Lungden is one of the most scenic and challenging days on the Three Passes Trek. It takes about 6 to 8 hours and covers around 10–12 km.
The steep climb to Renjo La offers breathtaking alpine views, and from the top, you get a stunning panorama of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and the turquoise Gokyo Lakes. The descent is steep at first, then eases into a gentle trail along the lake, leading to the peaceful village of Gokyo.

Our guide will lead the trek to Gokyo Ri (5347m) which starts early in the morning. The summit offers the extravagant vista of Cho You, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and many more. While climbing down you can enjoy the view of Gokyo Lake. Hike up to Gokyo Ri
(5,360 m / 17,585 ft) for sunrise views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Makalu.
After lunch, trek across the Ngozumpa Glacier to reach Dragnag (4,700 m / 15,420 ft). The trail is rocky and can be tricky, but the scenery is otherworldly.

Start early from Dragnag for a steep ascent through rocky terrain and a glacier approach to Cho La Pass. The climb to the pass is challenging but rewarding with dramatic alpine views and glacial landscapes. After reaching the top of Cho La (5,420 m), descend carefully along a glacier section and loose moraine before the trail gradually levels out toward Dzongla, a peaceful village nestled beneath Cholatse peak. This is a demanding but incredibly scenic day that combines high mountain adventure with rugged Himalayan beauty.
This is a relatively short and scenic trek compared to previous days. The trail gently descends out of Dzongla with stunning views of Cholatse and the surrounding peaks. It then curves along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, offering spectacular glacier vistas before gradually ascending toward Lobuche. You’ll reconnect with the classic Everest Base Camp trail here, so expect to see more trekkers.

Begin with a gradual but high-altitude ascent from Lobuche to Gorakshep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp, through rocky and glacial terrain along the Khumbu Glacier. After a short break at Gorakshep, continue your trek to Everest Base Camp, a thrilling route with views of Pumori, Khumbutse, and the icefall of Mount Everest.
EBC itself doesn’t offer views of Everest’s summit, but reaching the base of the world’s highest mountain is a huge accomplishment and one of the most emotional highlights of the trek. After soaking in the atmosphere, return to Gorakshep for the night.
Early in the morning, you will hike to the top of Kalapathar at 5,545 meters, this will be at the highest spot of the adventure (5545 m), offering incredible views of mountains with Mt. Everest at closest. After a great moment, you will return to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue the trek to Lobuche, and overnight at Teahouse lodge. After enjoying the breathtaking views and photos, descend back to Gorakshep for breakfast and then continue your trek downhill to Lobuche, retracing the trail along the glacial moraine
The trek begins with breakfast in Lobuche, heading off the main EBC trail toward the challenging yet rewarding Kongma La Pass, the highest among the Three Passes. The ascent is steep and rugged, with epic views of Lhotse, Makalu, and surrounding Himalayan giants from the top of the pass.
After soaking in the dramatic scenery, carefully descend over loose rocks and glacial terrain before reaching the peaceful valley of Chhukung, nestled in the Imja Khola region and surrounded by towering peaks. This day is physically demanding due to both the altitude and the terrain, but incredibly scenic and fulfilling.

The day begins with a gentle descent from Chhukung, retracing the trail through Dingboche and past Pangboche village, offering sweeping views of Ama Dablam and the Imja Valley. After crossing the Imja River, a final forested uphill section leads to the spiritual heart of the Khumbu: Tengboche Monastery.
This peaceful village offers a serene atmosphere with dramatic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Overnight in Tengboche, surrounded by Himalayan giants and deep spiritual energy.

Start the day with a scenic descent through rhododendron and pine forests to Phunki Tenga, followed by a gradual climb to Kyangjuma. The trail then continues to Namche Bazaar, where you can take a break and enjoy your final views of the Everest region.
From Namche, descend steeply through dense pine forest and cross high suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. The final stretch leads to Monjo, a quiet village just outside Sagarmatha National Park.

The day begins with a relaxed descent along the Dudh Koshi River, passing charming villages like Phakding and Ghat. You’ll walk through pine forests, cross several suspension bridges, and enjoy your final glimpses of Himalayan life.
After a gradual uphill climb from Chheplung, you’ll arrive in Lukla, marking the end of your Everest adventure. Enjoy a well-earned rest and reflect on the incredible journey before flying back to Kathmandu the next morning.

The day starts with an early morning joyful flight from Lukla to Manthali and after a 5 hrs ride you will be transferred to your hotel. Please enjoy your evening and feel proud of yourself what you’ve accomplished so far
